Wendy Ulve Design Associates is a group of designers, artists, engineers, and project managers established and directed by Wendy Ulve. We combine the diverse talents and skills of many individuals with the practice and the twenty five years of experience of Wendy Ulve.

This diversity provides our clients with a wide-ranging base of knowledge and experience from which to make their design decisions. We specialize in using this knowledge to deliver timely, effective design solutions in a beautiful interior tailored to meet the aircraft's mission.

What We Do

Wendy Ulve Design Associates specializes in the interior design of private, corporate and executive class aircraft. We assist our clients through the process of creating an aircraft interior, from the establishment of an initial concept to the delivery of the completed aircraft.

Our clients include aircraft owners and operators, aircraft manufacturers, as well as aircraft completion and modification centers. We excel at balancing a beautiful and refined sense of design with the flexibility needed to provide all parties involved in the completion process with a smooth and successful project.

Our Design Philosophy

An experienced aircraft interior designer can be a tremendous resource on an aircraft completion or modification project. With connections to the manufacturing centers as well as the industries of the trade — fabrics, carpets, cabinetry, certification and project management experts, an aircraft interior designer can save you tremendous time and money while adding value to the completed aircraft.

Our History

Wendy Ulve first entered professional practice in 1976 at Airesearch Aviation Company in Los Angeles, California, and in 1983 founded Wendy Ulve Design Associates. With experience spanning over 80 projects and ranging from an L-1011-500 interior for King Hussein of Jordan, Boeing Business Jet interiors for private and corporate clients, to simple Gulfstream modification projects, Wendy Ulve Design Associates draws on solid knowledge formed through experience.

In our twenty year history our clients have ranged from leaders of the aircraft industry such as Boeing, Lockheed, Dassault, and British Aerospace, heads of state and corporate leaders, as well as aircraft completion and modification centers throughout the world. We are known for our ability to meet difficult deadlines while providing our clients with beautiful, functional and manufacturable interiors tailored to their particular needs. In a recent project we helped to deliver Boeing's first “turn-key” Boeing Business Jet interior with record-breaking levels of client satisfaction while delivering the aircraft on time and well within forecasted costs.
